376562 2005-07-28 23:30:00 Opera 8.02 is out now, at www.opera.com/download stratters (2587)
376563 2005-07-28 23:57:00 There seems to be only a few changes in this one but the security issues that have been fixed would make it an important upgrade. FoxyMX (5)
376564 2005-07-29 23:45:00 I downloaded from that link last night but when I right clicked on Properties, it appears to be still version 8.0.1 - at least on the NZ Expio server.
Anyone know about this? Is it as it says in the top line, really version 8.0.2 or as it says in the lower line, 8.0.1??

Don't really want to go to the bother of uninstalling 8.0.1 just to re-install it again. It's a beautiful day out there!

Appreciate your help

Happy Saturday to all

Changed default browser identification to Opera.
Enabled BitTorrent support.
Fixed a crash related to JPEG EXIF data.

It says NOT to install over a release version. BUT I have. It works fine.

My upgrade registers as 8.02 and I always download mine from MajorGeeks (www.majorgeeks.com).

There is no need to uninstall your previous version before upgrading - just install over the top.

376569 2005-07-30 10:20:00 It's cool. I worked it out. It is the new version, but thanks for your help anyway. I did uninstall the old first,( cos you hadn't replied then lol) but all my settings remain as usual and I'm a happy little Opera camper. kakapo (5362)
