| 376421 | 2005-07-28 12:13:00 | My parent's hard drive is pretty much dead & took windows with it, but I can still access most of the the partition they were using for C drive (I found 10 gig of healthy space to install linux on). I need to recover the emails & contacts from outlook. I set up a personal address book (.pab file) that they updated whenever they updated their contacts, but it appears to be corrupt. Any chance this is because it was created in outlook XP & I'm using outlook 2003? | Greven (91) | ||

You may be able to view and recover PAB data by opening the file with a hex editor." so now I'm looking for a free hex editor or a way to get the contacts out of outlook instead of the pab backup. |
