2005-07-31 21:48:00 Hi,

What operating system are you using and what kind of hardware (mobo chip etc)?

2005-07-31 22:04:00 some people like to install the drivers first for wireless network cards, i like the linksys and d-link brands, it sounds like you are having issues installing the drivers, if you an an IT person has had no luck i would give your computer a good scan with antivirus and anti spyware products and make sure you have updated to service pac2, it you still cannot get them working maybe ask the shop where you bought them to install them for you, it should be a minimal cost Rob99 (151)
2005-08-01 16:09:00 hi, this computer uses service pack 2, the other one uses service pack 1, i have now got the drivers installed and the card itself is being detected but when i run the wireless network wizard it comes to a screen that says the card isnt connected but you can choose to ignore it so i did and it continues on until the wizard is finished and it makes u restart but after ive restarted the network icon down at the bottom right of the screen says there is no connection . mickeyc (6724)
2005-08-02 21:08:00 Can you see the cards under the Network connections tab? (I think thats the name of it, work computers aren't xp) Because if you can then you should be able to setup the network manually (I haven't had much luck using the xp wizards). But if they are still not turning up in here then you probably still have hardware issues. pico (4752)
