376839 2005-07-30 22:15:00 I presume you are using the correct printer driver?
What sort of printer are you using? What O/S?

376840 2005-07-30 22:23:00 Is this related to your previous post about your offline printer (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz)? You had five different people trying to assist you on that thread, yet you never went back and replied to them as to whether their suggestion helped, or answered their questions. PressF1 works best with bi-directional communication - a lot like a printer does.

If you could clarify whether this is a continued problem from your previous post that would be great. :)

376843 2005-07-30 23:06:00 sorry 4 being so dumb but whats a "o/s"? mason (3641)
376844 2005-07-30 23:56:00 Tis ok, O/S stands for operating system (i.e Windows 98, or XP, or Linux for example) Myth (110)

376846 2005-07-31 03:41:00 Shut down the computer and then unplug the printer from the computer. Turn the computer back on again and let Windows load. Now shut the computer down again and reattach the printer once more. Start the computer back up again and see if this helps.

Is your printer connected to the computer via USB (small rectangle plug) or parallel plug (wide plug with lots of tiny pins)?

If you also go into the Control Panel > Printers, and the right-click on the printer icon and go into properties, are there any troubleshooting buttons/tabs you can check for error messages?

Failing all this, you can try uninstalling the old printer software via Add/Remove and then installing the lastest driver from Canon which you can download from here (www.canon.co.nz). Make sure you get the one for Windows XP (bjc2100spxp162.exe).

Let us know how you get on, and if you have further questions please ask. :)
