If they gave you the password you could activate Reachout so save them a trip and speed up the process. They really do need to get the problem sorted though. mikebartnz (21)

If you are the owner of the business, you can, if you want to take the risk, add software (such as a key logger) to your business computers. If you are an employee of a large company (an oil company, for example?) they might have a very strong objection to such actions..

Remember, the computer system isn't a toy to be played with; it's what the business runs on. The password on the maintenance tools is there for a reason. It might be satisfying to make things "more efficient" by beating the security, but it might not be career-enhancing. ;)

The database shouldn't get locked up on a regular basis. Something is wrong. Look at getting that fixed.
