| 377802 | 2005-08-03 05:53:00 | For the past six months I have been getting an unwanted icon at boot time. It looks like two monitors with a red cross on them.Hovering mouse pointer over them I get "a network cable is disconnected". It shows up in device manager as "Nvidia nForce networking controller 2". If i Uninstall it windows finds it next boot and buggers about looking for drivers. I have no network other than adsl modem. Fire Wire and Blue Nose are disconnected in bios but I can't find anything else to switch off. |
