378273 2005-08-04 20:59:00 In my time, I had the orinal PC Company balled mouse (still going after 3+ years) though only used when required, I also have an MS Optical Blue mouse (2 years, no hassles), and a mini optical mouse for my laptop (bought from Warehouse Stationary - can't remember brand sorry).
My partner has a Logitech wireless (balled) mouse/keyboard set which is about 2 years old as well, and still going well (despite the keyboard taking flying lessons lol)

378274 2005-08-04 21:21:00 I also have a MX500 which I am very happy with. However with the cheaper Genius, A4Tech etc - they ARE cheap so if it doesn't last ages, so what, you buy another one. My workshop systems use cheapy mice. Doing ok so far...
My son has a DSE optical mouse which is still happy after 2 years.

378275 2005-08-05 01:36:00 Was it your arm and leg? (seems a bit steep) :p

Yeah, defintely. I negotiated them down too. They initially wanted an arm, a leg and a left appendicle, and, I went there because they were cheaper, right :waughh:

Needless to say, I passed on the mouse/keyboard combo.

Yours sincerely

Hoppy

PS. On the bright side, parking is now a breeze except for the odd 4x4 in my spot(s), bus and train fares are subsidised and there's no wasted effort getting a leg over.

We always knew you were an 'armless sort of bloke, and suspected also that you got legless quite often. At least its now proven, and you had the balls to make the deal.

Not true Goddie, vicious tittle-tattles perpetrated by idle witted gossipers, take no notice . I'll have you know that I have at least one of everything . Getting a bit short of spares for some, though :horrified

As for my, alleged, consumption of alcohilc beverages, I never touch a drop of the stuff . Nor do I leave one once the bottle has been opened hic! :waughh:

Never have had, or felt the need, to prove the efficacy of my gonads Goddie

378278 2005-08-05 05:37:00 after throwing my Logitech Di-Novo bluetooth (or should that be (toothless) keyboard mouse combo over the counter at HNorman (I also paid an arm/leg/appendicle but still had enough balance left to hit the spot) I purchased an MX 1000 laser, so far so goodie goodie... the best mouse I've ever had, very precise without being finicky and love the scroll options.

I may use the balance of the money from the k/board to buy a left neuticle :-)

378279 2005-08-05 09:16:00 If perchance you have not nipped out and purchased one of these lesser mice,we can recommend the M/S Explorer 4(thats the royal we),we are very happy with said mouse and all who sail in her. Cicero (40)
