378189 2005-08-04 06:20:00 I want to downgrade the bitrate on some MP3s... from about 192 to around 64. Any suggestions as to how to go about this?

Thanks,
Mike.

378190 2005-08-04 07:39:00 gday,

there is a wicked programme called "audacity" that will do this for you, it is a simple mp3 editing programme. It can also join songs together, split tracks as well as do other cool things you may need.

378191 2005-08-04 10:46:00 CDeX should be able to do it. As will winlame, foobar2000, winamp, dbpoweramp. Jeremy (1197)

378193 2005-08-04 21:40:00 You reliase that is if you downgrade the bitrate you will be losing some audio information in your mp3's?

just thought I mention that...

cheers
