378866 2005-08-06 07:33:00 OK. So what format do we need to save a movie from a digital camcorder in so it can be burned to a disc (either CD or DVD) and replayed on TV through our DVD player? ("Read the manual?" you say. No, it's easier to read a politician's mind)

Also we've saved movies in a .wmv format but when trying to play it on the Windows Media Player it plays outlines and lots of solid colours that bear no resemblance to the original colours. Plays fine on someone else's older media player though. Any ideas?

378867 2005-08-06 07:46:00 Nerovision will let u edit / burn that WMV to a DVD.

If it's over an hr or so, I doubt it'll fit on a cd. BUT the only thing is, u may need the DVD plugin. I'm not sure, to do this.

It MAY or MAY NOT work after. Depending on how old your dvd player is.
