378846 2005-08-06 07:00:00 I go to open a URL only to get content advisor ,requiring a password.
How do I get rid of this?
I am the only one who uses this computer and would appreciate help on this.
XP home.
In both settings and disable I get the request for password.
Oh I should mention I don't know what password is,don't ask how it got to this position.I have no idea.

Thank you for that Saf.
I did all that a guest suggested and we are moving again.
I might add, without doing registry backup. No idea how one would do that.

Go Start / Run
Type in regedit
Go File / Export
Save it your My Documents or wherever you like. If your Registry becomes corrupted then just do similar and Import the registry files.

As far as I'm aware creating a new System Restore point amounts to the same thing.

Go Start / Programs / Accessories / System Tools / System Restore / Creat a System Restore Point
