| 378829 | 2005-08-06 05:06:00 | Hi, there's a really annoying search bar at the top of my girlfriends internet explorer and im sure its more than just a search bar, it takes you to random sites and makes your homepage searchweb2.com and half the sites you WANT to visit it wont load the images for :angry , ive tried adaware but that doesnt get rid of it, could someone please suggest some programs that would get rid of this annoying spyware or whatever it is!!! help cheers Jimmy :badpc: |

| 378832 | 2005-08-06 05:24:00 | I just removed this from a mates pc last week, (amoungst other trojans etc.). Its is bloomin persistant, ill give it that. Microsoft's Beta Spyware tool found it and removed it, but you'll need to do it in safe mode, as it'll keep comin back if ya dont. I also ran a search with spybot search&destroy, and removed all other entries with that too. If I remember correctly, it was hiding in a folder in the system32 folder. |

| 378836 | 2005-08-07 08:10:00 | Going from memory..... Try Right clicking at top of your browser on an empty space, (where you turn tool bar lock on/off or customise it). Then deselect that search bar.( Untick it) |
