| 379256 | 2005-08-07 15:41:00 | I have a primary drive NTFS winxp. My other drive is FAT32 and I used Norton Ghost 2003 to image the primary to the secondary. NOT a clone. If my primary drive went bad, I would have to format it and partition it to NTFS then restore from secondary with Ghost. But how do I do this???? How do you format a hard drive to NTFS? What utilities do you use if XP is not running and you don't have a full install XP disk handy? |

| 379257 | 2005-08-07 20:04:00 | Welcome To PF1 Fred When you use the image to recreate your hardrive it will also recreate the file system. (Mirroring not only yhe software but the file system) therefore you shouldnt have to format before reimaging. At least that the case with Power Quest I'm guessing its the same is true for Ghost. |
