1376066 2014-05-28 01:50:00 Hello PC World Chat Forum,

I own an Isuzu Wizard SUV.

I'm looking for a car maintenance manual.

Is there one specific to the Isuzu Wizard? If not, is there a generic one (online or paper version) you can recommend to me?

I found one online but will need to get the web address.

Thanks in advance,
Barry.

1376068 2014-05-28 02:43:00 Try the public library website search facility.

Good idea. I actually can do this search online from my computer.

I found the webpage address of the car care manual (it looks like a generic one), it is at:
www.nxtbook.com

1376069 2014-05-31 05:31:00 Try searching eBay. Some manuals are on CD/DVD, or to download. Or do a PDF search for workshop manual to buy online. kahawai chaser (3545)
1376070 2014-06-01 03:57:00 You could try one of the Haynes search results (www.google.co.nz), eg haynes.com (http://www.haynes.com/) Greg (193)

1376072 2014-06-19 10:06:00 To update you folks on what has happened since my last post on 28 May 2014:
1) I looked for car care books at two North Shore City libraries but couldn't find a suitable one.
2) I called around several car dealers and one sent me an email saying an Isuzu manual would cost $50.

The link given in my last post didn't work in my Chrome browser. It may have gone out of date.

I think the best solution is a generic car care manual and then to build up one's experience with good maintenance of a car.

1376073 2014-06-19 19:17:00 For engine maintenance, you could search on your engine type for a manual or info, since your SUV is rebadged (en.wikipedia.org) for other countries. PDF search (www.google.co.nz) or document search engine (http://www.findpdfdoc.com/) may find a manual.

You could search or join a forum related to your SUV. YouTube has excellent automotive channels and tutorials from working mechanics. Fishpond (http://www.fishpond.co.nz/) NZ sell manuals - some around 30 dollars.
