An activity best left to others if it is has caused an injury. Rest up and I hope you are back on your feet soon.

1376584 2014-06-07 01:36:00 Thank Folks :) as SWMBO says I cant go doing anything stupid, haven't finished doing the house renovations yet, and ya cant kill weeds :wub

Not been to good for several months now, After being forced to go to the Dr's ( dragged by the Mrs almost) Been having a Lot of signs of Heart related problems, which sent me off to the Hospital for tests etc, Dr gave me meds that are working so far, still got some more tests to do, then being me, got a damn chest /throat infection on top of it that's doing the rounds for the last three weeks. Been real fun couldn't say more than 5 words without coughing my lungs out, then couldn't breath, and couldn't sleep, Couldn't even eat for a few days ( one way to lose weight) -- coming right with that at the moment.

The "Weeds" that have been mentioned -- More like trees and bushes that really should have had some sort of machinery to remove -- But Narrr do it by hand ( Manually) now paying for that as well

The idea of removing them by the good ol Kiwi way, attach a rope and pull out by car - The idea was there, but if they came out to quick I would have had about 2mtrs to stop before going through the neighbors fence - Hmmmmmmmmm

I'm the sort that cant sit around doing nothing, the Mrs just says what ever -- dont complain.
Biggest "bugger" didn't even feel like having a beer at the end of the day - Gotta fix that ;)

Thanks again.

Edited: Still have to work, being self employed the boss is a prick - no sick leave.

1376587 2014-06-07 03:36:00 This is what we had to do.
No way to do it manually with that wire fence on one side and our wood fence the other, chainsaw to cut it small as we could then crowbars, spades, and hands to pull all the rooted Jasmine runners, and as much privet as we could.
Took 2 days.

1376588 2014-06-07 04:06:00 Ours was worse than that, except no wire fence we overfilled one of those large waste care bins ----My backs certainly feeling it now :(

WONT be doing that again in a hurry.
