| 1376553 | 2014-06-06 22:50:00 | Would anyone care to state when the last fatality on State Highway 1, Ngauranga (in the area of the speed camera's location) was? Better still, when was the last accident in that area? |

| 1376556 | 2014-06-06 23:35:00 | My point about the speed camera on Ngauranga Gorge, which is located in a 80 KPH zone, is that it is deliberately placed to catch cars that are automatically increasing their speed due to the fact that the car is now going downhill. It is a proven fact that a vehicle traveling down a hill will ALWAYS increase its speed unless some form of resistance is applied. With today's automatic cars, unless the driver engages a lower gear, the car will automatically speed up. Most drivers today do not know of, or how to apply engine braking by engaging a lower gear. Just watch their brake lights displaying all the way down the hill. :( |

| 1376558 | 2014-06-07 00:19:00 | A manual? You don't have to worry about speed cameras, it's the roadside artists doing oil paintings that'll get you ;) (Don't tell anyone, I prefer manual too. They are much better at passing petrol pumps.) |
