1389504 2014-12-04 08:37:00 I just use 2Degrees and Vodafone app. I had JellyBean and KitKat with the included feature under settings - Mobile Data but it is not accurate. You can set up a warning like 400MB and then it warns you and put a date spread on it like maybe 4 of one month to the 5 of the following month. Nomad (952)

Depending on android version and what you're trying to measure. I think that maybe be for mobile data only but it might do what you want.

1389506 2014-12-04 22:55:00 Given the built-in data usage monitoring functionality, you're going to need to be much more specific about what you need, particularly around what the default app doesn't give you that you want, for any viable suggestions. inphinity (7274)

Can do wifi measurements as well, at least on Kitkat.

BS it's not accurate! It's within approx 1% most of the time for me vs what my Telco sees. That's pretty damn accurate!

You have great manners for a moderator.

On my phone I gave me an alart but I was still 200MB off my limit.

1389510 2014-12-07 09:15:00 It's supposed to, it's an alert to tell you that you're reaching your limit, and then later on it says "Hey you're *at* your limit, do you want us to kick in and disable mobile data to prevent you from incurring excess data charges?". If it was wrong, I would suggest it was misconfigured with the data cap / warning details, or your start date was set incorrectly.

Tell you what, compare what's there now, on your phone, vs what your Telco says you've used for data. I'd be very interested to know. My last months is within 2MB out of 2.5GB, so a margin of error of 0.1%?

1389511 2014-12-07 09:34:00 I double checked the 2Degres app the $19 combo plan renews on the 19th of each month. Checked the mobile data setttings again and altered the bar graph so it reported 19 Nov to present, I put in 11 Dec cos it wouldn't go in the future to 18 Dec.
Phone says 389MB used. The data warning is set to 1,400MB.

2Degrees app says 1191.54MB remaining from the 500MB + 1GB promotion (total of 1.5GB).
1,500 - 1191.54 = 308.46MB thou ..
