1376741 2014-06-08 02:21:00 This is just a query as I've resolved the issue... I was trying to hack a system file in my PC and when trying to save the changes I got the message Access Denied. Grr I hate when my own computer tries to tell me what I can or can't do.

I since found step-by-step instructions, but man what a rigmarole! So instead I downloaded and ran an app called TakeOwnership, which allows me to literally take ownership of any file or folder with a right-click option.

So I have to wonder how come I can't, with full admin rights, automatically have ownership?

1376743 2014-06-08 03:52:00 You don't own the files, MS do. Your fee to MS only allows you limited access to some of the files, some of the time, if you're lucky. Read your EULA, and prepare for black helicopters in the early morning. :D R2x1 (4628)
