1376074 2014-05-28 06:28:00 The man accused of killing Auckland woman Blessie Gotingco appeared in court this morning before Judge Philippa Sinclair.

He was arrested just after the 56-year-old mother-of-three's body was found yesterday in an area of bush at the Birkenhead-Glenfield cemetery on Eskdale Rd.

He was granted name and image suppression, saying a fair trial could be jeopardised otherwise.

The accused did not apply for bail and he was remanded in custody to reappear in the High Court on June 18.

1376076 2014-05-28 07:07:00 Does this mean the Police are habitually associating with known criminals? Isn't that an offence? ;) R2x1 (4628)
1376077 2014-05-28 07:35:00 I bet this guy has a got a wrap sheet and is either out on bail or has done something nasty before and is on parole. paulw (1826)
1376078 2014-05-28 08:07:00 I'm betting he is out on bail for some sort of sexual violation :(

A 1/2 ounce of lead is needed.

Yes, and another 1/2 ounce for each of the touchy/feely Judges that allowed him on the street.

If he is given the lead treatment, then indeed he may be wrapt in a sheet.

1376081 2014-05-28 10:21:00 Obviously if he is known to Police because he has committed previous offences and is on the Police computer. Bobh (5192)
1376082 2014-05-28 20:58:00 Apparently there was a facebook page naming him and listing his previous crimes.
One involved a 5 yr old girl. Not murder.

Whether it was that person or not I don't know, friend read it to me...I didn't read it myself.

The page has been removed now.

Thanks Bob, I think we can all rest now.
