2005-08-10 00:42:00 When I import a photo into "Paint" it appears to be the size of my desk and I have to scroll all around to view it. How can I make it appear complete on the screen? gradebdan (2186)
2005-08-10 01:04:00 In Paint on the top menu bar click on images then attributes and change the pixel size or click default level.

Doing that cropped my picture rather than resized it.

Depending on what you want to do with the picture I would be inclined to use Irfanview or a similar graphics program to resize the image down to 800 x 600 (or required size) first. You will need to Save As the picture to another name to preserve the original before editing.

2005-08-10 01:31:00 Why are you using paint to view photos?? Rob99 (151)
2005-08-10 01:32:00 Better yet download the free programme www.photofiltre.com/ apparition (3207)
2005-08-10 02:17:00 I used "paint" to try and make an A4 notice to sell a camera. I wanted a small photo at the top and then text below outlining the details. I have programs like "Arcsoft" "Photo impression" and "Powerpoint" but couldn't find in them a plain 'template' that I could place the photo at the top and type text below. (It's probably me) I thought "paint" would be easier to work with. gradebdan (2186)
2005-08-10 02:21:00 You could try Wordpad or Word Rob99 (151)
2005-08-10 02:36:00 Agree with Rob*. Word will make a lovely controlled job of such a task. It will even add little tear off tabs containing your contact details at the bottom so that you can put your "ad" on the supermarket notice board. Scouse (83)
2005-08-10 03:32:00 I do not have WORD. I USE lOTUS 97 WORD PRO. gradebdan (2186)
2005-08-10 03:37:00 Well use that if you can, you will have Wordpad though, it can be found in the Accessories folder from the Start button Rob99 (151)
