| 379588 | 2005-08-09 08:55:00 | i'm using orcon bitstream and i've had trouble with my internet this afternoon orcon's network status did mention a router crash at around 11am..but fixed at 11:50 right now i can go to a few site..well..most sites but... i can't go on msn i can't get into some major sites, including altavista hotmail gmail sourceforge ..and even..microsoft's site.. feels like something wrong on my end..not theirs.. i've restarted router, restarted comps still doesn't work.. wondering if anyone on bitstream are having the same problems too.. |

| 379590 | 2005-08-09 09:48:00 | no..dat didn't fix the problem.. tried orcon and xtra's dns ..um..never thought xtra's dns can work too... too bad it didn't solve the problem also restarted router again didn't help either.. |

| 379591 | 2005-08-09 09:53:00 | What happens when you try to load one of the above listed sites? 404's etc? Have you looked in your host files to make sure nothing dodgy is happening there? Also try pinging the websites: gmail.com 64.233.171.107 |

| 379592 | 2005-08-09 10:03:00 | pings get timed out seem to be able to resolve gmail into ip but still get timed out when pinging with ip in fx the page jz goes loading...then conecting to google.com ..then load load..then get operation time out other sites that do load eg nzherald, they just load normally like always |
