379988 2005-08-10 07:17:00 Will this co-exist happily with windows and linux distros,

specifically what happens on the boot loader front

Now my memory may be a bit faulty here, but, I am sure in years gone past I read that Solaris would damage partitions around it something to do with the way it reads things

I would just like to have a play with solaris, i have win2k plus ubuntu working fine, was thinking of replacing ubuntu with suse 9.3 professional and trying solaris at the same time, will it all work, or am I going to have to have bootloaders on floppies etc

Thanks

379989 2005-08-10 08:35:00 Im sure ive seen options in GrUB to add Solaris, but maybe somebody who's dabbled with Solaris can comment better than I could. Chilling_Silence (9)
