379822 2005-08-09 12:07:00 Hi,
I am thinking about buying a new lcd monitor. I want a 17"-19" monitor with good response time and contrast ratio. i found this monitor (www.qmb.co.nz) is it any good?. can you please suggest any good lcd monitors.
Thanks.

What do you want to use it for? At 21mS the response time is too slow for serious gaming but it would be ok for general purpose computing.

More info on your needs will be required for serious advice.

379827 2005-08-09 20:39:00 Yes the Philips is nice - and has a zero dead pixel warranty.
Some have a certain number dead and some have zero bright.
PCWorld reviewed some last month - check it out.
Also Sony is good.

379828 2005-08-09 21:50:00 I recently (last week) purchased the CMV CT-720D 17" LCD.

I would feinitly recommend this monitor to anyone that is looking to go LCD.
