| 380641 | 2005-08-12 23:48:00 | Hi There I always wondered if someone would ever answer these silly questions! 1 We have DVD players in the current market with - & + capabilites. What are these - & + stuff? I wish if someone was kind to give me a bit of an enlightenment. 2 However I've not seen these features available in the CDRs & RWs. Does that mean, CDRs & RWs are universally the same with the - format? If not, do we get any with + capability in NZ? 3 Also what is a Dual-Layer? |

You can buy DVD burners which support + and - and also dual layer. http://www.videohelp.com/ is a pretty good site to check out everything about DVD etc. Dual layer has 2 layers compared to a normal dvd. Which has 1. You can put more on it. |

| 380644 | 2005-08-13 00:03:00 | Dual layer means it writes 2 layers of data. The older DVDs used to write just one layer of data. So dual layer DVDs allow you to store twice as much data on one DVD |
