| 380468 | 2005-08-12 06:43:00 | This is a problem that has just started today. Up to today Firefox worked properly and I had no problem in opening any page including Gmail. As of today, when I try to check my Gmail in box, or even go to the Gmail home page, I get the following "Alert" message: The File/mail/?view=page&name=js&ver=2e8b6aO2fi8ef cannot be found. Please check the location and try again. At this point nothing more loads. I am able to access my Gmail box through Internet Explorer which I prefer not to use. Other than the above, I have no problem in accessing any other page with Firefox. I run Windows XP SP2 Home and Firefox 1.0.6 Can anyone help. Without being able to access my Gmail in box, it's not worthwhile using Firefox. |

I just re-install anything like Gmail or Firefox when they screw up...they are small and quick to get...but make sure to totally remove any parts of the old program first..it makes it a lot less messy. Try the reload after uninstall, and see if that helps..you won't lose any mail...Gmail keeps it all for you at their house. |
