How can I rename 600 photo files for a slide presentation and preserve the desired order after copying to a CD. I have numbered them 0 to 600 as a batch, and they appear in number order when sorted by name in XP Explorer, but when viewed as a slide presentation the order varies somewhat. The numbers followed by a zero, ie, 10, 20 ,30 etc appear too early. ie, 20 appears after 2, and then comes 200 and 30 after 3 and so on. The last zero/s seems to be ignored. |

Hi David. Did you number them 001,002,003, etc? If you just numbered them 1,2,3, then you have a problem. |

You would need to rename them so that they start as 001, 002, 003 etc so that any single or two digit file names have zeros in front of them to make it a 3 digit number. |
