I tried for several months to get my computers running the afore mentioned O/S's to talk to each other before giving in and upgrading to XP on the second one. W98se is notoriously difficult to network (apparently) and if you do manage to get them to talk you can forget about trying to add a wireless component. Because I wasn't able to use encryption with the W98 machine. As I said at the outset, good luck. I will be interested to hear how you get on. |
