| 382151 | 2005-08-19 03:15:00 | I have downloaded and installed the new ATi Catalyst 5.8 drivers and they seem to work well. The problem is that I cannot get into the ATi Catalyst Control Centre at all... it says I don't have sufficient priveleges and that I have to contact the Administrator. I have Admin rights but I'm stumped as to how to get it to work. I have the latest .Net Framework version and everything else I need is up to date. I have posted on Guru3D (forums.guru3d.com) as well as Overclockers NZ (http:) but all they tell me is to use the ATi Control panel along with ATiTool (which I 've done) This seems to be an alternative rather than a solution... does anyone out there have any other ideas. cheers chiefnz |

| 382153 | 2005-08-19 04:29:00 | Yes several times, I read on another forum to check for spyware, so I ran Spybot and found Smitfraud... I successfully removed that but still no go after it was removed!!! cheers chiefnz |
