this is trivial BUT --- I chat to with a friend in the U K on MSN and as he has been in NZ for a short time- we quote for an item in our country and compare the other's:- sic this morning ---a Lazyboy chair in NZ is about $1000 -he is able the send in the sign, pounds -ie the pound rate for the chair -(about 300 odd pounds) and dollars signs-how?

I think he said to get $ on the U K keyboard press ctrl and F at the same time
Can anybody enlighten me?

383342 2005-08-24 07:25:00 I wish people would say what OS they're using :p

If your using windows you might find a prog called "charmap" that gives you all the characters not found directly on the keyboard.

In Linux Kcharselect does the same sort of thing.

No idea what you do if your using a Mac.
