Personally I would dismiss any laptop instantly if it had space wasted on a floppy drive,PS2,keyboard or printer port,Thats what the USB is for.... As for specific models, the ASUS 6000r range was available in a multitude of dirrent configurations and are top quality sleek units, though they have run out supplier side (been trying all week to get one) The current offerings are a little weak......Though there will plenty of the recent models in shops... | 383386 | 2005-08-30 08:29:00 | hmm another dell flyer came here today, still interested in these for some reason, they arent badly priced, i think. but physically whats wrong with them? the parts? the inspiron 700m has a 12.1" widescreen XGA TFT display (1280x768), how small is this? is it tiny?? as in really tiny and i shouldnt even bother? and with this intergrated graphics, this will take some of my ram away wont it, eg if i have 512 in it, and ive set 64mb to the intergrated graphics, that means ill only have 448mb for windows, is that bad? would it be better to have a laptop version of a graphics card? graphics chip is it called ?? im prepared to buy off the internet, so ascent is in the picture now, first my parents werent keen on it but they are now :D so recommendations for laptops from ascent will be highly appreciated. im willing to pay up to $2000ish |
