I think it was probably a dialler.... and if it was it must be hard to dispute that you didnt agree to make the call? Anyways, I wouldn't pay them SH*@... scum...

That is, one party makes an offer (of goods or services) and the other party accepts the offer. There must be an arrangement as to "consideration"....i.e. money, goods or services in exchange.

Only then is a contract in existence and legally enforcible.

You don't appear to have agreed with optusnet to use and pay for their service and therefore you ought to be able to deny liability till the cows come home.
