Unfortunately, if other people have physical access to the computer, that would give no security at all. All they have to do is boot another operating system. ;) Passworded compression or an encryption programme is probably the nearest you'll get. That has the problem that quite often any hardware/file system problem can cause you to lose the lot. A removable hard disk or USB flash disk would work. As long as you remember to remove it and lock it away. |
