| 383353 | 2005-08-24 05:18:00 | I am running XP Pro and I seem to have removed some vital files doing a clean-up. System Restore is no good as it has been too long. The problem is I can no longer run Help/Support. My system tries to load the programme but it never loads. Secondly, I cannot display Users in Control panel User accounts. The file opens but it is blank. Lastly I cannot access windows update. Once again the web site opens but has no content. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Ron Keilty |

| 383356 | 2005-08-24 05:35:00 | My first action would be insert the XP CD start > run & type in "sfc /scannow" (without the quotes) and click ok. this will check the integrity of core system files and replace any damaged ones |
