Hi folks. I have just installed Service Pack 2 for Win XP and done all the updates, but the auto-update icon in the system tray irritates me. Is there any way to get shot of this unnecessary space waster. Hope one of you bright sparks can help.

If you still have a yellow update icon on your task bar by the system clock, chances are there are updates waiting, move your mouse curser over the icon it may small text info message. |
