ok so when im downloading huge files from websites.... 90% of the times after about halfway... the download will stop and it will say something ... then at the bottom it says Operation Timed Out, and when i go to restart the download... i have to start ALL over again... it's happened for as long as i've been downloading... no matter where or what i download, it happens... i had about 600-900 mb done on it out of 1.40 or so gig...
any ideas? |

What browser are you using or program to assist the download? If you are on dialup and experience timeouts then using a reputable download manager might be your answer. |

Are you with Xtra?, at one time when downloading a big file they for some obscure reason treated your line as not being used and at 20 minutes the operation was timed out. Sugggest check with your ISP. Most browsers have a setting that allows your download to recommence after a stoppage. |
