| 383782 | 2005-08-26 06:11:00 | Gidday, Been searching n' searching for some suitable parts Decided most likely on Pent D 830 (3ghz). For the MOB I think suitable boards are Intel D955 or D945?... Q1 Any advice on good board for this cpu? (Havent seen a price for the d955 yet...gulp) Should I get intel mob? Oh, while I'm at it, re:P D 830, is speed step technology really good? As the 820 comes bundled with some mob cheaply but doesn't have speed step. Q2 Water cooling? Thought I would skip on this, but then saw a water system that 'looked' pretty straight forward www.ascent.co.nz Any suggestions? Q3 Am I likely to need to get a special psu for the extra stuff on the mob that needs power (eg special plugs coming from it etc) I know nothing about psu connecting sadly Hey, thats probably taken up my daily allowance of questions.
