2005-08-24 20:57:00 | I am looking for a low to mid range PCI Express graphics card for my new system. I notice that Legend are considerably cheaper than most other brands, but they are rarely, if ever included in reviews. Hence I was interested to see if other members have had experience with them, and how they have performed. | Randolf (75) | |

2005-08-25 12:30:00 | I was thinking of either the GeForce 6600 256mb PCI Express or the 6600GT. | Randolf (75) | |
2005-08-25 21:44:00 | I was thinking of either the GeForce 6600 256mb PCI Express or the 6600GT. Get the 6600GT, the standard 6600 has problems with smooth FPS on many of the current games like BF2, little own future proofing. 256MB would be nice, however the much faster GPU of the GT is more important.

2005-08-27 06:38:00 | You could get a 6600 gt 256 mb card thus having the faster core and more memory if you wanted. check out www.pricespy.co.nz for computer component prices. For BF2 you also need 2 x 512 mb ddr ram or a 1 gig stick to run the game good. Futerproofing thats just !@#$%^&* talking.

2005-08-27 22:28:00 | Actually the one I am most interested in is the Legend GeForceGT PCI-E 256mb (NV6600GT2P) but nowhere (and I have spent hours) can I find the full spec's. Not on the www.legendmemory.com websit, or anywhere on the web. I do know that it sells for around $290, which is one of the reasons for this post, as other brands with these spec's are over $400! The old adage "you get what you pay for" came to mind. So would the board cut the mustard, and why is it so much cheaper than the competion are the points I'm caught up on. Any help to sort me out appreciated.
