| 383464 | 2005-08-24 16:28:00 | Do you mean "cache" (temp files) If so Tools>Options>Privacy>Cache. Otherwise a post in the MozillaZine Forum may help forums.mozillazine.org :2cents: |

| 383467 | 2005-08-24 20:25:00 | yes well I just deleted a bit of cache thinking I could recover a bit of hard drive space now I had to reenter web site passwords, reset my desktop, and reset the farting noise (or was it bleaching) when my computer has finished booting. | ERR (8231) | ||
| 383468 | 2005-08-24 20:26:00 | To find files in cache (or anywhere else that I might have lost them) I use Ztree file manager. I log the relevant hard drive, or all drives if really stumped, and do an "all files" (*.*) descending order sort by date. If I just downloaded or saved the file it will be in the top 10-20 files, otherwise I go down to the date band where it should be. It never fails, and saves me from all sorts of errors like files saved without a suffix or accidentally saved to the wrong folder. You can also do a search of all files for a specific word to find a really obscure file. Searching is very fast indeed and beats Windows search hands down. Ztree is a free download with nagging beeps on start-up after trial expiry, but keeps working. You have to read the help files to understand how to use it but it is worth the effort.
