| 383423 | 2005-08-24 09:52:00 | Since last night my international traffic has been slow. By slow i mean pages taking minutes to load. ICQ and MSN frequently disconnect me from thier servers, and some pages dont load at all. Local traffic is just fine. I'm on a cable modem in CHCH. Is it just me or are others experiancing this? |

| 383425 | 2005-09-05 22:13:00 | Still the same. I've noticed that Limewire traffic screams in and out, but the international websites seem S-L-O-W. One wonders if there is a proxy server somwhere that is regurgitating the international sites at it's own rate? I also wonder if this is effecting all NZ Paradise/TelstraClear users, be it cable, DSL, or dial up, or just CHCH cable users? |

(http://slashdot.org/) , but not allways. The BBC site is so S-L-O-W that images don't usually load :( The only sites that load quickly seem to be either local (with the exception of ***) and blog/journal type sites I assume that these more dynamic sites bypass proxy servers because of thier everchanging nature? |
