| 383414 | 2005-08-24 09:17:00 | I run Win XP. I have as my ISP Paradise which has its own web mail. I also have Xtra with OE. I have downloaded Thunderbird and wish to make it my preferred e-mail using the Paradise connection. How do I do this without touching Xtra. Tanks Eddie |

| 383415 | 2005-08-24 09:27:00 | So your ISP is Paradise and you wish to download your Paradise emails into Thunderbird, but do not want any of the xtra emails that currently get downloaded into OE to end up in Thunderbird? You just need to put in the Thunderbird account settings the Paradise mail server details. Don't enter in the Xtra server details. Guide to setting up Thunderbird (www.nidelven-it.no) - (it is for an older version, but the steps *should* be the same). Paradise mail settings (www2.paradise.net.nz) for pop and smtp. |
