383804 2005-08-26 06:36:00 If u want to try trojan remover, uninstall it, delete its folder, open regedit, if it opens, and go here.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Simply Super Software

Highlight and delete this entry. Close regedit. Use ccleaner, click on issues.

Click on scan for issues. Click on fix selected issues.

Anything relating to trojan remover, delete it

Reboot. See if it installs and runs then.

383806 2005-08-26 06:48:00 Well it does with most, and there are no keygens :D

There maybe cracks, but most dont work. And even if u got a crack, when u update it, it'll go back to a trial.

I think this program's serial is based on country and address. (When u register it). Thats what its based on.

So even if u stole a serial, if you're not in the same country, (the same place the serial was taken or stolen from), registration will fail.

Its a 60 letter code serial # - 1 line - 6 characters in each separated by a -

383810 2005-08-26 11:50:00 So is the problem fixed?

Not yet, I'm going to have to run McAffe for a few hours and see if it picks it up. If not I'll go into safe mode and delete the files when I get home from school later on.

383811 2005-08-26 12:06:00 Download the ewido suite.
www.ewido.net
Install the ewido suite make sure you update it after installation.
Turn off System Restore.
Do a complete scan with ewido (it'll take a while)
Remove all it finds
Install Adaware, update and do a complete test
Install Spybot, update it and run it
Run a complete McAffe (yuk) test
(The problem you have is most commonly caused by the Sasser worm, I thought McAffe would have picked it up.
Maybe it's been caused by something else in this case)

Reboot and turn System Restore back on
Manually create a Restore Point

Put your XP CD in the CD Drive
Go Start > Run and type sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and /)
When it's finished Reboot
If the problem still isn't fixed, download the emergency toolkit I posted earlier at least this will let you run Task manager to do whatever you want to do
Then post back and we'll go from there to fix the problem properly
