| 384417 | 2005-08-29 03:23:00 | Hi all I have a MSI 649D Pro motherboard which I want to put in a case, but most cases don't seem to be big enough to fit this motherboard. It is an ATX form factor mobo but seems to be slightly larger than other ATX form factor mobos. It is 30.4cm x 25.4cm which makes it about 3cm larger than my existing ATX mobo. www.msi.com.tw As most cases seem to be mid-tower am I in for a rough ride to pick up a cheap case for this? I don't want to pay the earth for it as it is only running dual PIII 700 processors with 512MB Ram. Any suggestions as to a suitable case would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. |

Most cases you can buy now should fit your board, and most computer stores websites' tell you the max mobo dimensions anyway. as for price, around $30-$50 for a new one, and I'm sure you can get a decent(sized) case from trademe cheaply too. |
