384176 2005-08-28 00:29:00 I just reformatted a friends computer that was running on win 98, after doing it i can't change the screen res from 640 x " " but before I reformatted it the screen res and colours were just fine. I was given no graphics card driver and it only has a basic graphics adapter. Can I still change it??? iQuestion (8794)
384177 2005-08-28 00:33:00 Unless the drivers are for that card, it wont do anything.

I would find the right drivers, or find a better videocard.

Whats the brand/model of the videocard?

Go get Everest and run it Linky Here (www.lavalys.com) it should help in ID'ing the graphics driver

384180 2005-08-28 09:21:00 also if youve forgotten the graphics driver then most likly you have forgotten the motherboard driver which is the first driver you should install. tweak'e (69)
