| 383994 | 2005-08-28 04:51:00 | I use Limewire Pro, havent used anything else for a couple of years. Again, paying for p2p is an oxymoron ;). I used to do the same, but I hate programs that use a java GUI - interpreted languages are too slow for that. I use winmx for random music, bitcomet (a bittorrent client) for TV shows, applications & full albums and emule for what the internet is all about. Bittorrent is evil - whenever I download an album that not many people have, it is guarenteed to have 1 or 2 songs that are completely messed up & make me want to buy CDs that I can't afford. |

| 383995 | 2005-08-28 05:42:00 | Yeah, I don't like the fact that Limewire is a java app either. I don't know, its my preferred but I dont love it. I also use BitComet, but haven't been hitting the torrents since it seems to saturate our 2mbit connection, even if going at shaped speeds. I suspect its due to steps the mpaa is taking, not that I download movies - they just generally hate bittorrent I think. It's weird cos even downloading legal torrents, ALOT of ips are blocked via pg2. :annoyed: |

| 383998 | 2005-08-29 06:47:00 | torrents suck, well i hate them - i always end up uploading much more than i download. Limewire sux too - it hogs your resources so much. Kazaa will full your computer with adware. Winmx - well its just ugly. A DC++ client is the best in my opinion. It's great for full albums and finding rare and new artists, live concerts, ep's etc. Plus you can set NZ only hubs, so if you're on cable with 100gb national cap its pretty good. However it's complitcated for the average user, so if you're computer illiterate, maybe you should stick with limewire. Of course you could buy your music, videos, games and applications :D http://dc.peerweb.org/ is my prefered DC client. |

| 384001 | 2005-08-29 09:13:00 | i had a few file from limewire that were 30% complete, i pause and resumed the next day and limewire said it was corrupted. | Prescott (11) | ||
