| 383973 | 2005-08-27 01:17:00 | Downloaded and installed Ewido Security suite last night but after the installation and when I restarted Windows, weird things happened: 1. Windows found the following "new hardware: Ewido security suite driver and Alerter. 2. Windows was unable to find any driver for the above drivers - (of course, there isn't any hardware installed!) Any idea what is all this about? Is Ewido safe to install and use? Cheers |

| 383974 | 2005-08-27 02:19:00 | I installed it just the other day on XP Pro. No problems and didn't see the messages you have. What OS are you running and if XP did you install with an admin account? | berryb (99) | ||

| 383977 | 2005-08-27 06:09:00 | Have just uninstalled Ewido Security Suite and rebooted Windows. Checked device manager and found that "Alerter" and "Ewido Security suite driver" are still there with the yellow question mark. Can someone explain? |
