Possible to use RAID-0 SCSI/SATA and have one drive in addition be it SCSI or SATA for mirroring?

Are you able to run a RAID SCSI and RAID SATA at the same time?

What sort of RAID setups do you guys have?
Still in the stages of planning, thought of picking up some SCSI Drives at $120US a drive each on ebay..... thou 40Gb size.

Cheers.

Edit, usually handling 25MB 16 bit tiff files. Later on, may get onto 4x5 inch scanned at 4000dpi files as well....

Theoretically (I don't have a RAID array on my computer) I don't see why it shouldn't be possible.
The SCSI host adapter with its BIOS pretty much takes care of all things SCSI, while the motherboard takes care of all things SATA.
