385082 2005-08-31 06:28:00 I have got the Trojan Lodmedud. I am running Nortons, Adaware, Spybot, and
Microsoft antispy (all updated). Whenever I run I.E. Nortons detects it and says it deletes it, however, the next time I open I.E. it is there again. I have
gone to Symantics web site and have gone through the process of turning off
System restore then running Nortons, and then turning System restore back
on. But alas I still have this trojan. All the other spyware programs I
have do not even see this Trojan.

Got any ideas? I am sure running out of any. :groan:

385085 2005-08-31 06:52:00 And consider getting a decent anti-virus

AVG for free; or Kaspersky (though can be slow doing scans), or BitDefender8 Pro for non-free

385086 2005-08-31 07:19:00 I would get a second opinion from a different virus scanner. Try one (or more) of these online scanners and see if they also detect the trojan:

Trend Micro Housecall (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/)

Panda ActiveScan (www.pandasoftware.com)

Computer Associates (www3.ca.com)
