| 1390305 | 2014-12-16 02:24:00 | Hey i have a free avast antivirus software on and i want a threat to be removed completely , now there were couple of other virus which were detected but found they were false alarm , this one seems a threat and avast detects as a Win32:Rootkit-gen[Rtk] , so there any way i can removed this like a software i mean . Another issue is that another pc was found with "PUP" software lots of them , malwarebytes found this . I quarantined them and then i rescan and it found nothing , so my question is do u know what quarantined really does , does it remove it or does it what ????? Thanks |

| 1390306 | 2014-12-16 03:52:00 | Try www.sophos.com Avast wont remove it unless its able to remove on a reboot. Also run www.bleepingcomputer.com and TDSSKiller bottom of same page. quarantined in simple terms puts anything in a sealed container. |
