Seen in the main street of Taumaranui. It seems that they only paint the sides that the public can see.

1377655 2014-06-21 19:55:00 In the 1950s we used to see railway carriages used as cribs (baches) down here in the deep south. Using a railway carriage for an eatery is a novel idea which is applicable to Taumaranui's history.

Why waste paint on the side of the carriage that supposedly will not be seen.
