| 1390068 | 2014-12-22 00:56:00 | The Corsair VS series uses crappy capacitors (See: badcaps.net forums.hexus.net hardwareinsights.com) x2, Low end PSUs from 'good' brands unfortunately almost always have crappy capacitors, a shame because in other respects they are usually not bad PSUs. I replace the capacitors with high quality ones after the warranty runs out, I did that with my Corsair recently. But any decent review site will show internal pictures of the PSU and you can see what they're using. |
