As for designers and engineers, looks like we were out done there too I think that had more to do with them practicing more after each race and making improvements that any design issues that we may or maynot have had. They also had a very effective afterguard. |

| 1377206 | 2014-06-16 23:13:00 | Our top all blacks consistently perform, scuse me. Just how many attempts AND LOSSES at the Ruby World cup :punk Where are all the people up in arms at the HUGE losses that rugby stadiums run at, most are funded by NZ Taxpayer & local ratepayers (rates are taxes anyway) |

As a contractual obligation, that could have been leveraged to provide bridging finance. There's something missing here we're not being told about. Otherwise would not those sponsors and even our government have provided the bridging finance? I think I have found something we weren't being told ;) HERE (www.nzherald.co.nz) |

| 1377209 | 2014-06-21 08:05:00 | Do you think that Grant Dalton is being paid too much to run Team NZ and chase sponsors? Short answer Yes. They are losers. They somehow managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in San Francisco so are worth the same as the directors of all our failed finance companies. There are much more worthy things to spend the taxpayers money on. |

| 1377210 | 2014-06-21 08:20:00 | There are much more worthy things to spend the taxpayer’s money on. And what would those alternative worthy causes be? Baring in mind that the govt got a lot more than $36 million back in tax and GST from San Francisco. NZ companies also got huge exposure to American audiences and tech companies during the Americas cup racing. You can't put a dollar value on that. |

Well for a start I think all those people waiting for Cancer Operations, Cataract Operations and Joint Replacements are a more worthy cause than Rich Boys Toys. As for the Government doing well out of the last Cup, they put in $36M and got back $38M so they only made a paltry $2M which hardly justified the risk. Had we won, as we should have, it would have been a whole different story. Moving on to Sir Stephen Tindall, dont forget he is a Director of Team New Zealand. Finally THIS (www.nzherald.co.nz). It seems Mr Dalton has done very well out of Team New Zealand. |

| 1377214 | 2014-06-21 21:06:00 | tvnz.co.nz Team New Zealand has now confirmed it has enough money to stay afloat until the end of the year without Government help. A week ago Mr Dalton went cap-in-hand to the Government , saying the team only had enough funds to keep going until the end of the month. www.nzherald.co.nz Team New Zealand boss Grant Dalton splashed out on a $100,000 motorbike just weeks before he went cap-in-hand for taxpayer cash. He and wife Nicola have just sold a property in Karaka, which was listed for $965,000 and Dalton is selling a $2.5m section in Queenstown. Dalton's properties are worth more than $10m - including a 911sq m home on exclusive Victoria Ave in Remuera. ....and he asks for money...oh hang on, no, don't need anymore just yet.....what a load of ****. **** the Americas Cup. |
